2. The Purpose of the Website
SolyaDecor is a website showcasing original, handmade works of art.
Visitors can enquire about the artworks via the contact form or by email, and may also submit enquiries regarding custom commissions.
The website does not have an online shop, shopping cart or direct online payment facility.
3. Contact and Enquiries
The contact form may request the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Subject of the message
- Message content
The purpose of processing personal data is to respond to enquiries, communicate with interested visitors and discuss potential custom commissions.
Depending on the nature of the enquiry, the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken prior to entering into a contract) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests).
Messages are received by email. Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry or as required by applicable statutory retention obligations.
4. Hosting and Technical Data
The hosting provider, Rackhost, maintains access and error logs to ensure the operation and security of the website and to identify technical errors. Access logs may contain the time of access, the source IP address, the request method, the requested URL, the HTTP status code, the response size and user agent information. Error logs contain the time, source IP address and error message. The hosting provider retains these logs for one month.
5. Cookies and Website Features
The website is built on WordPress and uses TranslatePress for language switching.
The website does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Site Kit, Matomo or Google reCAPTCHA.
6. Social Media
The website may contain simple links to Facebook and Instagram pages.
When visitors click these links, they are redirected to the respective service provider's website, where that provider's privacy policy applies.
7. Rights of Data Subjects
Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, data subjects have the right to request access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, to object to processing, and to request data portability.
